The 16th RCEA Bayesian Econometrics Workshop will take place at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Madrid, on May 26-27, 2026. Papers in all areas of Bayesian Econometrics are welcome for contributed sessions.
Programme Details
Keynote Speaker:
Christian Matthes (University of Notre Dame)
The workshop will feature up to four "junior paper awards" of 500 USD each, provided by ISBA's Economics, Business and Finance Section. This funding is for young researchers who are members of EFaB (ISBA) and received their PhD after May 2021. Please indicate your interest in your submission and send a CV to be considered for this award to Roberto Leon Gonzalez at rlg@grips.ac.jp
Conference Venue: This in-person conference will be held at the main campus of Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Calle Alberto Aguilera, 23, Madrid, Spain.

A complimentary cocktail reception for registered participants will be held at the conference venue on 25 May 2026, following the last session of the day.
A Cocktail + gala dinner will be held at the Restauración Club Financiero Génova (C/ Marqués de la Ensenada, 14 - Madrid) on 26 May 2026. This event is for payment (115 USD per person). Registration Fee
Standard fee: 300 USD (Senior researchers); 250 USD (PhD students) - 40USD discount applies to RCEA/EFAB members
Late fee: 350 USD (Senior researchers); 300 USD (PhD students) - no discount for RCEA/EFAB members
Cocktail + Conference dinner on Tuesday, 26 May: 115 USD (not included in the registration fee)
The registration fee includes access to the plenary and parallel sessions, daily catering, and the welcome reception on Monday, 25 May. The fee also includes access to all the sessions of the RCEA_ICEEF 2026 conference, the 9th RCEA Time Series Econometrics Workshop, and the 2026 Climate and Energy Finance Conference. The fee is not refundable.
